Sahasra Bhojanam to 1000 Vedic Priests on December 31, 2017!

All the details are mentioned in the above flyers. The organizers need Sponsors for this noble event at a place called Vedal (which is about 10 kms from Kanchi) on December 31st, 2017. Our Acharyas have granted the Sri Mukham for the Event.

  6. Respected Guru’s,

    I somehow do not believe that just by offering sahasrabhojana will help in upholding brahmanathvam.

    Why spend a whopping 75 Lakhs for a one time feast and that too for 1000 Brahmin ( who are in the haves bracket )?

    That money can be utilised to educate children from poor Brahmin household who desire to study which includes Vedas but are not able Finance it?

    The whole event according to me is a kind of waste in terms of time money energy .

    And moreover there is no concept of living for 60K years in brahmaloka just by offering bhojana.

    People are being misguided.

    Therefore my request is instead of spending 75 Lakhs for a one time bhojana let’s look at helping in education and deeper study of Vedas by Brahmins and Brahmin girls and boys from poor households.

  9. I feel we can help them in educating boys and girls instead of spending money on Bhojans and vastharams.since they are getting these facilities in various rituals frequently.
    This is my opinion

  11. Estimated expenditure is a little over Rs 5000 per person, Hence the maximum expenditure can be within Rs 60 lakhs but aggregate expenditure estimated is Rs 60 to Rs 70 lakhs. It may be advisable if disclosure is made with regard to the budget or at least how the amount of Rs 5000/- per person has been arrived at.

  14. Shouldn’t there be a designated email id for the Committee so the contributors can notify about their online transfer of funds with details of address etc.? Won’t it be difficult to pass on these details to one of the mobile numbers indicated by call or SMS?
