The God that Speaks, Pesum Deivam — New Tamil Book release.

Sree Krishnarpanam Seva Society (SKSS), Nanganallur, Madras released its 18th publication ‘Pesum Deivam, The God that Speaks’, recently, on the experiences of several devotees of Mahaperiyava. The book is authored by J.K Sivan, a resident of Nanganallur. Keeranur Ramamurthy, president, SKSS, delivered the welcome address and Sundaram Ramachandran, secretary of the association, introduced the activities of the association.

Shri R. Panchapakesan and his wife, industrialists from Bangalore and staunch devotees of Mahaperiyavaa, who had performed the last kanakabishekam of Mahaperiyava at Kanchi, released the book and also sponsored it. Panchapakesan narrated his experiences with the seer. Dr. V.S.Venkata Raghavan, eye surgeon, and Hema Barani Prasadh, councillor, were the first recipients.

He advised the children to imbibe devotion and culture and urged them to read all the volumes of the great book on Maha Periyava to gain knowledge on the subjects taught by the seer.

Smt Gayathri Venkataraghavan, Carnatic musician, sang a song of Periyasami Thooran on Mahaperiyava. Panchapakesan also announced his desire to sponsor the next book on Mahaperiyava by J.K. Sivan. Gayathri Jambunathan, master of ceremony, performed a dance programme and students of Abhinayalaya School of Dance, Nanganallur, performed. The function started with a ashtothram to Mahaperiyava, by K. Rathnam Iyer, a resident of Ullagaram.

The book will be given to interested readers on meagre donation to cover the cost of printing only, says Shri JK Sivan.

  1. It is a great work done by the community. Since the book has been already sponsored for printing….what is that extra cost involved that the org cannot afford to distribute to the interested free of costs. The tag of attaching a cost to every theology publication is one of the main reason where the interest is losts. If the publicity is not for the people who sponsored it…then donot attach any tag..the purpose of spreading awareness will be achieved if done with spiritual aim

    1. The donation is only to meet the printing cost of future books as sponsor for the same or next book is not assured. Still copies are given to those who wish to read them and to children as prizes for participating in various competitions held.
