There are just a handful of noble people who go all the way to help Temples, Veda Patashalas and Goshalas that are in need. Today I wanted to share my thoughts about two of them, Uma Vijai and Halasya Sundaram Iyer (Sundar to me). They both are from simple backgrounds.
Uma lives in Melbourne, Australia. How passionately she goes around to help temples in dilapidated conditions or when temples need a certain help like building borewells etc. She is seen in the below pictures:
She is seen with her husband in the below picture:
Uma has also visited countless Veda Patashalas and assists them with her might. Once she organised to deliver 60 sugarcanes (to about 112 vidhyathris Veda Patashala students) to Athur Veda Patashala.
On another occasion she distributed Dhothis (veshtis) to one Padasala and bed sheets to another. She had also donated a power jet clearing machine to a group which does temple cleaning on a regular basis. Most of the charity, temple restoration projects that she could coordinate are with her clients financial support. She does astrology as her profession and as remedies, she requests her clients to support the needy in the community. Kanchi Mahaswamigal has come in her dreams several times. She is a very humble and unassuming lady.
Sundar lives in beautiful Thirunelveli town in Tamil Nadu. He simply loves Veda Patashalas and its students. They are his very breath. He finds time to interact with the students there; he engages with them at their level.
Sundar is from a very simple background but his care for Veda Patashalas and Goshalas is exemplary. This is he in the below pictures:
Below are pictures taken by Sundar of his most favourite Veda Patashala students. He visits them on their birthdays and makes them so happy.
Sundar is seen with one of my favourite actors:
His joy knows no bounds when he is with the Veda Patashala children and when listening to their chanting the sweet sounds of Vedas. He and his team have done innumerable services to the Veda Patashalas and Goshalas. He visits them on a regular basis and tries to take care of their needs. Sundar’s favourite God is Kanchi Mahaperiyava.
Both Uma and Sundar help with child-like enthusiasm when they do things for others.
May we all be inspired by these two.
A beautiful day to Everyone.
