In Gurukrupavilasam (Vol.1) authored by Sri Bhashya Swamigal the following wonderful anecdote is available.
Once when Sringeri Acharya HH Sri Chandrasekhara Bharati Mahaswamigal was in Antarmukha Avasta (inward meditation), He suddenly murmured a sloka and mentioned the name of one Sri ——-!
The Sloka reads thus:
jagadambA padasmartuH nahi duHkham kadAcana.
yadi jAyeta nUnam tat sukhodarkAya kevalam.
(For one who meditates on the Lotus Feet of Jagadamba nothing untoward will happen. Even if some obstacles come, rest assured that they are only for good).
Sri Bhashya Swamigal who was around there could not decipher exactly what needed to done, and listening to Acharya’s orders (mmm po po.. ezhuthu)…(go go write) noted down the sloka and sent it by telegram to Sri ————.
After a few days Sri —– had come to Sringeri for Acharya’s darshan. On enquiring, he revealed that he had lost his job and was suffering to make he ends meet. He was earlier blessed with an idol of Ambal by Sri Acharyal for which he did regular puja and of late his shraddha was declining even in offering worship and it was at that time that the Sloka reached him by telegram which induced him to perform puja with rejuvenated vigor! Needless to say that Sri —— got a better job and he was materialy doing well thereafter.
Just one more instance for us to imbibe in our Hearts that a Sadguru is our wellwisher and only relative/friend in this world, Who constantly strives for uplifting His disciples.
Thanks to Shri Kamesh Bhavaratnam who had posted this in Sringeri Mutt group in Facebook.
